Contracts and obligations
Drafting, checking and reviewing contracts for businesses and individuals. We also prepare terms and conditions, complaints procedures and other documentation for e-shops and bricks-and-mortar stores.
VELKÉ MEZIŘÍČÍ · VYSOČINA REGION
We help clients across general legal practice, above all with drafting and reviewing all kinds of contracts, including those concerning the transfer of or other dealings with real estate, and with corporate matters. We also handle debt recovery and represent clients before courts and public authorities, particularly in civil and criminal matters.
We approach every matter personally, clearly and thoughtfully.
LEGAL SERVICES
We focus on practical solutions to everyday legal situations. If your case goes beyond our specialisations, we will recommend a colleague.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Send us an e-mail or call. Briefly describe what you need help with and we will agree on the next steps.
We discuss your matter in person, by phone or online. We propose possible ways forward and give you an approximate cost estimate.
We then handle the matter in line with your instructions and keep you regularly informed of its progress.
ABOUT US
We combine thorough preparation with a human approach. You always know who is personally handling your case.
Since 2026 I have practised as an independent attorney. I draw on my experience to help clients not only resolve legal problems that have already arisen, but above all to prevent them. I place emphasis on well-prepared contractual documentation, understandable legal advice and solutions that match the specific situation and the client’s real needs.
Having passed the bar examinations, I practise as an independent attorney. I specialise mainly in commercial and civil law, real estate law, family and employment law, criminal law and representing clients in contentious proceedings. I help clients find practical and effective solutions to their legal matters and consistently protect their financial and personal interests. In my work I place emphasis on an individual approach, plain-language communication and professional representation.
FEES FOR LEGAL SERVICES
We always agree in advance on how our fee will be calculated. Its final amount is usually determined by the scope of the work, which may change as the matter progresses depending on its circumstances and further developments. We always propose the option or combination that makes sense for your case.
Applies to most legal services. Our rate is CZK 2,000 for each hour started, with a minimum billing unit of 15 minutes.
We agree this in certain cases for selected services, for example simpler gift or purchase agreements or the fee for administering attorney escrow.
We agree this fee only exceptionally and to the extent of our mutual agreement. A contingency fee may not, however, exceed 25% of the total value of the outcome.
Unless a price is agreed individually, the fee is determined under Decree No. 177/1996 Coll., the Attorney Tariff, as amended.
In addition to our fee, we may also be entitled to reimbursement of cash expenses (e.g. paid extracts, postage) and, where applicable, to compensation for lost time and travel costs (in particular where we travel outside our office in connection with your matter). We will inform you of these in advance. The amount of these costs depends primarily on our agreement; where it has not been agreed, it is governed by the Attorney Tariff.
Unless we agree otherwise, we usually invoice our fee and any reimbursements on a monthly basis. These amounts are payable on the basis of an invoice within 14 days of its issue.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Short answers to the questions clients ask most. If you cannot find your question here, get in touch.
Bring everything relating to the matter – contracts, correspondence, demands, decisions of authorities or courts. Even incomplete documents are better than none; we will gather anything missing together.
How long it takes depends above all on the nature of the particular matter.
For drafting or reviewing contracts, setting up a company or similar one-off services, we usually work in a matter of days to weeks. We always agree a specific deadline according to the scope of the work and your needs.
For disputes and other proceedings, the length cannot be reliably determined in advance. It depends, among other things, on the position of the other party, on how the court or another authority proceeds, and on further developments. At the outset, however, we will explain what can realistically be expected in your situation.
Yes. You can turn to an attorney even if a dispute is already under way. If you are already represented in the matter by another attorney, however, we cannot take over the representation until the existing representation has ended. Once it has ended, we can take the matter over and arrange the steps needed to change representation. We will then assess how the matter has proceeded so far and its current state, and agree the next steps with you.
The outcome of a legal matter cannot be guaranteed in advance in every case. We will, however, always explain clearly the possible ways of resolving it, their risks and the expected course of the matter, so that you can make an informed decision on how to proceed. As the matter progresses we will also alert you to any change in circumstances and to new risks.
Yes. We can check a contract you have already prepared and point out any risks or problematic provisions. In general, however, we do not recommend preparing legal contracts yourself or with the help of artificial intelligence. On review, such a contract often requires extensive amendment or reworking, because it is necessary to correct not only individual provisions but also its overall structure and internal consistency. That can take more time and, ultimately, cost more than preparing the contract from scratch.
We are usually able to offer an initial consultation within a week of first contact. The next steps and the date on which specific work begins then depend on the nature of the matter, its urgency and our current capacity. We can always tell you in advance when we will be able to attend to your matter.
Yes. If, on assessing the matter, we find that pursuing a dispute does not make sense given its risks, costs and the expected outcome, we will tell you openly. Our role is not to conduct a dispute at any cost, but to protect your interests and to look for the solution that is the most effective in the circumstances.
Before any dispute begins we will therefore explain its possible risks and the scenarios for how it may develop and, depending on the circumstances, we will also recommend the option of an out-of-court settlement. The final decision on how you wish to resolve your matter is always yours.
